#HisNameis!

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father & Prince of Peace. Yes, and I call Him: My Lord and My God, Master (Adonaï), the precious Lamb of God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Lion of Judah, the Eternal Word of God, the Lord of Life, the Mighty Conqueror, My Savior and Friend, My Redeemer, My Healer, My Prized Possession, My Rock and Tower of Refuge, My Protector and Defender, My Provider, the Lover of My Soul, My Great Shepherd, My provider, My Hero, Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of the Living God, the Resurrected of the third day, the Conqueror of Sin and Death, Jesus Christ, etc... this list can't be exhausted. Because of Him and Him alone, I am still standing. Life without Him after a year like this one is simply a living agony.
I wish you will make it a point to take His extended hand towards you from this day forward. He is the real reason for this season... don't miss your boat for eternity. Receive Him today as the free gift of The Father and your life will never be the same. What do you have to loose. Find a bible and read Romans 10: 5 - 13. When done, call on Jesus and receive His everlasting Peace.

#Messiahhascome!

#Messiahhascome - They came from the far east. They undertook a very long journey. They traveled with determination and great anticipation. They decoded the comic sign which announced the coming of the Savior of the world and the Lord of life...
This sign was a bright star which they followed diligently to the very doorstep of the house where Messiah was.
Having entered the house they saw... they bowed in worship and they offered gifts.
Now this is what God's presence does to us whenever we step before Him. We bow in worship and we offer our hearts, our lives, our time, our talents, our belongings, our resources, etc...
May you get to know the joy of offering everything you are and have to the Lord Jesus Christ as we remember his coming to earth to offer everything He is.
Amen!

#TheLawofChrist!

#TheLawofChrist - Here Paul is offering his closing remarks to the Galatians after addressing the doctrinal confusion that this church experienced from Judaism inviting them back to the observance of the law of Moses which was centered on personal performance in the keeping of God's moral law plus the tradition of the elders handed down over many generations.
On this specific verse he invites them, and us today, to bear each other's burden as the Law of Christ requires of us.
What is this law of Christ?
Walk in love! Love God and Love your Neighbor.
This is the law of Christ.
What burden is the community of believers required to share amongst themselves?
ALL BURDENS!
Starting with Spiritual Burden by praying for one another, adding Emotional Burden by sharing our emotional state and supporting each other emotionally where the need arises, and finally Physical Burden by lending a helping hand when needed and why not, sharing a meal together in joyful fellowship.
Take this to heart beloved and fulfill the LAW OF CHRIST.
Amen!

#Praying&Singing!

#Praying&Singing - James offers us Pastoral remedies to the lows and highs of life. This advice is very capital to help believers navigate safely and responsibly through life's both end of the emotional spectrum. Yes, both pain and pleasure left unchecked can lead to sin or even death.
Hence, to avoid the extremes of suicidal thoughts in our pain, we must pray! Likewise to avoid the extreme of compulsive addictive behaviors in our happy days, we must sing praises to God to keep us close to Him and away from the dangerous waters of secular hedonism.

#ABIDEINME!

This invitation of Christ clearly tells us that a victorious and fruitful Christian living necessitates a permanent or continuous connection to the author and source of Eternal Life, even Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
One can argue that this statement of Christ does not limit itself at securing our fruitfulness in the kingdom but also can serve as the determining factor of whether we belong to him or not.
Remember Paul? Workout your own salvation with fear and trembling?
So, once again if we love Him, we must abide in Him! How! you ask? Joshua 1:8.
Where do you stand? Selah!

#GodsExpectations!

#GodsExpectation - It is a fallacy to think of God as a tyrannical, over-controling and micromanaging ruler with unrealistic expectations, whose desire is to entrapped or imprison us into an ignorant and unfulfilled state of being. This fallacy is what the devil presented Adam and Eve with to turn them away from God.
But God is a loving Father who has his children's best interest in mind when He instructs them to follow Him and His ways. This is how we heal our world from all ills.
Do justice, Love kindness and Walk humbly with God. Selah!
If you are born again, there is no other way to live than this. If you are an unbeliever, understand that God's goal is not to take the fun out of your life. Rather, His desire is to give you a purpose driven life with great fulfillment as you come to know the one who made you and who has a plan for your life. Hear His voice, trust in Him, walk with Him... it shall be well with you!

#TrustGod!

#TrustGod - God alone is the Unshakable Shaker. All else is sinking sand. These past months unfortunately have made this fact abundantly clear. Our health, wealth, life, relations, governments, social order and rest can never be considered as inherently stable and safe. When a shaking like the one the world is going through happens, God alone remains the true constant because as the Rock of Ages, He naturally is the unchanging expression of stability, constance, peace and security.
You may be in a place where the recent world event has destroyed life as you knew it. Your world has completely been torn apart and you are blaming God for it. Please don't rush to the conclusions Satan is feeding your mind with. God is a tender loving Father with outstretched hands still saying to you "I am all you've got, We can't quit on each other now. Come forth, I am for you, let me show you what needs to take place next."
Just open your mouth and speak to Him right now... you will realize that He alone is indeed worthy of your trust.
TRUST IN GOD!

#CelebrationOfGod!

#CelebrationOfGod - Prophet Isaiah is in definite celebration mode here for his people and for himself as he perceives in the Spirit the Victory of God over death and His defeat of all their enemies. He burst in praise to the delight of God I am sure. We may even say that the allusion to God's victory over death is in anticipation of the finished work of Messiah when he comes. Isaiah looked forward to the cross and bursted in praise.
How much more, you and me living in the aftermath of the cross... shouldn't we daily be on praise mode? For indeed God has done great things (John 3:16). So if you are a believer wherever you are right now get your praise on. Amen!

#DoYouKnowHim!

#DoYouKnowHim - The knowledge of God and Christ the Messiah is the key to maturity in the faith and our access to all things pertaining to life and godliness. As we increase in our knowledge of the person and works of Jesus Christ, God supplies us with all that we need to live a life worthy of His calling. Understand  that in the Christian faith there is a correlation between knowing right and living right. To used technical words we will say, orthodoxy always leads orthopraxis. That is Authentic doctrine will lead to proper or correct living or practice of the faith. This is the path to maturity and the security of the believer. This is what gives us the confidence and assurance of our salvation. That we know Him and are growing in our knowledge of Him.
How to do this you ask? Personally pray and read His word daily. Then do what the word says you must do. Selah!

#Forgiven!

#Forgiven - 1 John 1: 8-10! How wonderful is it to know that the Omniscient God choses never to remember our past confessed sins? We are all too familiar with the popular saying "forgive and forget." This phrase best captures how God approaches our confessed sins. But it is not always true for us. We generally say that we can forgive but we'll never to forget. What is unfortunate is that we approach our relationship with God in the same way despite the fact that scripture tells us that
He covers all our sins and remembers them no more. The result of failing to believe scripture on this matter loads us with an insurmountable sense of guilt over our past sins every time we step foot in God's presence. Yet, the Bible says if the son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.
So today my appeal to you is: believe scripture and reject the liar of Satan. Know this, God forgives your iniquity and covers your sins (meaning He remembers them no more).
Be freed in Jesus Name!

#TheGiftOfLife!

#TheGiftOfLife - God's world, God's rules! For many Rom.6:23 just like the rest of the bible is simply not prescriptive as far as they are concerned because their paradigm of life doesn't include the existence of a benevolent personal God, who has created all things and who has definite expectations on His creation according to His divine purpose.
Since therefore sin is a personal offense against a personal true and living God, reparation of such an offense can only be made on God's terms and not ours. The Christian faith clearly stipulates that our God has made known to us the terms on which we can be reconciled with Him. John 14:6, Acts 4:12.
All that is expected of Humanity is to accept God's  gift to be fully restored in our privileged position of God's stewards and personal representatives here on earth. Today If you hear his voice, do not harden your heart.
The time to come is now! Shalom

#AllHaveSinned!

#AllHaveSinned - This is simply the reality of our human existence and one of the greatest revelation and realization anyone can come upon. Understand that purpose is intrinsic to existence. In God's created world, man was made to be God's steward here on earth by ruling, subduing and having dominion over all of God's creation according to the pattern and will of God. This would have honored and glorified God and fulfilled our purpose. But our forefather Adam and Eve his wife were deceived by satan in attempting to operate beyond the scope of their purpose. As a result every human being is born with a defective heart condition which seeks after self-glorification and not God's glory, thus violating the very purpose of our existence.
The human heart needs fixing and this cannot be done without prior realization of our brokenness. We all have sinned and are short of God's glory. Amen!

#EvilvsGood!

#EvilvsGood - We often say "God is good, all the time and that is His nature." That is true! But dear Believers, if we are God's offspring... born not of human will but of God by His Spirit indwelling us, should we not also be good like He is good? And be perfect like our heavenly Father is perfect! Today's scripture is an appeal from Paul not to give room to evil... but overcome it with good. I will comment and say: because we are the good people of a good God... good is the only way we get to overcome. If we want heaven's support and God power to be displayed in our lives... then we will choose good not evil. I pray that God helps you see the truth and empowers you to abide in it.
Shalom!

#LordHaveMercy!

#LordHaveMercy - If you have never read Psalm 51, I strongly encourage you to make time and read the whole Psalm. It is quite fascinating to note David's spiritual insight on the absolution of sin (i.e: God's mercy and cleansing) in times when the law of Moses prescribed the blood of sheep, goats and other rituals and observances. The law was given to Israel to make them and the rest of the world aware of sin and its final consequences - death. So the observance of the law could only deepen the realization of mankind wretched state and our deepest need for a savior.
In this text David breaks the mold and turn directly to God for the absolution of his sin of adultery. This was made possible because David understood that sin has always been an offense of the human heart against God. As such no amount of animal sacrifices could right the offense of sin against our Holy God. Only a broken Heart and a contrite spirit are good enough to warrant use forgiveness.
So if you have sinned, cry out for mercy to God and you will be cleansed.

#GodSavingGrace!

#GodSavingGrace - Salvation is the clear immediate context of today's text. The workings of God in us unto saving grace are carried out by God the Holy Spirit as we obediently submit to and apply the truth of the Gospel in our lives. This is the same as working in the Spirit (Galatians 5: 16-17). Clearly then, today's text does not mean that God overrides our free will. No, but in agreement with our human will (when we choose God), God works in us to will and work for his good pleasure, that is our new birthday, our spiritual transformation, our growth in Him and ultimately our glorification when we see Him face to face. This doesn't mean that we are co-authors of our salvation. No, salvation is entirely the work of God. But this work cannot begin, progress and reach its climax without our consent, faith and concious choice to live for Him (Matthew 13: 55-58; Mark 6: 3-6).

#TheGoodShepherd!

#TheGoodShepherd - These are the words of a shepherd boy turned king-prophet. In Psalm 23, He is equating his relationship with God to that of a shepherd and his sheep. In doing so David is giving us unique insights into the character of God whom he knew so well as an anointed prophet.
Verse 6 tell us that a lifelong walk with Jehovah shall guarantee us Goodness and Mercy because these qualities are essential components of Adonai Shalom, Yahweh, God.
Read Exoďus 33: 17-23.
God is Good! Draw near Him today and experience mercy through an unconditional acceptance as a child (provided that you choose Him the way He chose you). Amen!

#WhoseGloryAreYouAfter?

#WhoseGloryUAfter ? - Have you ever paused to ask yourself the question to know the ultimate purpose of all your life's pursuits. Paul here is writing to a childish, boastful church where majority of the believers there did everything in pursuit of their own glory. Their pride and boastful attitude didn't limit itself to their secular pursuits. No, they brought these damaging attitudes and competitive spirit in the life of the church, even in their spiritual pursuits. Does this sounds familiar? Yeah! This is the church around the corner, right? This should not be!
If I am to boast I will boast in Christ, I will boast in my weaknesses and I will boast in the grace and mercies of God. Not only at church but in my daily living too. Sole Deo Gloria!

#ThisIsOurGod!

#ThisIsOurGod - God is an expert at mending hearts because through the crucifixion of His Son Jesus Christ, He has experienced brokenheartedness as both God (the Father turning His back on the Son) and Man (the Jews rejecting Messiah). Psalm 22: 12-21 expresses this reality so vividly.
So if today you have a broken heart, I want you to know that you have a friend in Jesus. Come to Him right now through Scripture and the fellowship with other saints. Yes, the saints, meaning true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ alive today, A.K.A the Church.
As the body of Christ, one of our spiritual missions is to heal the broken heart and bind up the wounded souls with the help of the Holy Spirit. We cannot be part of Christ's body if we are causing brokenheartedness instead of mending and healing the wounded spirits.

#FaithProclamation!

#FaithProclamation - Did you know that this statement of Moses was in response to the people's clamor before He even consulted with God? Because in the next verse we are told that God tells him not to cry out to Him but rather to lead the Israelites forward through the sea, on dry ground.
Even without a word from God, Moses knew God's nature well enough to have the confidence to proclaim the deliverance of his people even before being given the strategy of this battle. The knowledge of God is essential to triumph over adversity. God is a finisher. He has not brought you this far to let you down or let you drown. Hope in God and trust His character in the eye of your storm.

#ReligionVsRelationship!

#ReligionVsRelationship - this is what this text is all about. God offers us a relationship with Himself through the person and ministry of His only begotten Son - The Messiah, Jesus of  Nazareth. His ways and methods are easy, simple, lifegiving, uplifting and never burdensome. Religion on the other hand has always been fallen Humanity's misguided attempts to relate to God and serve Him through a number of rules, regulations and rituals inspired by satan and practiced with fear (not joy), causing heaviness in the mind and hearts of those practicing them.
In your spiritual walk, where would you say you are? In relationship with God or in the religions of men? Come out of them my people! Know the Lord today.

#TheHumanHeart!

#HumanHeart - The worse advice to give to an unbeliever is "follow your heart."
If the Human Heart without Christ is deceitful above all things, following one's heart will be playing right into the hands of the deceiver - Satan. This has been his strategy - "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." This satanic rule is translated today into do your own thing (Generation X), be yourself (Millennials), follow your heart (Generation Z).
The result is that iniquity and rebellion against God's law has filled the earth. Everyone everywhere is encouraged to follow their hearts devoid of God! Here lies Humanity biggest problem, sin in our heart. The only remedy to this is Faith in Christ. Come to Jesus and be reconciled with God.

#LoveIsTheWay!

LoveIsTheWay - Agape! Unconditional love, devoid of all selfish motives and ambitions. A love that continously flows forward and outward like a river because it has an ending source or supply (The Cross of Jesus). We love because He first loved us.
This love does not come naturally to the human heart. Only the regenerated heart is capable of this love.
In the expression of this love is hidden the true power of God to turn the world upside down. This love is the one thing which satan and all his servants cannot imitate or copy because they filled with hate.
Do you know this kind of Love? Come to the unending supplier of this Love and see life in colors!! Can you smell the roses? :)

#StrongInTheLord!

#StrongInTheLord - here is a commendation you and I (believers) really need to hear. This epistle is Paul's effort to keep this local church free from the heresies of their time. Paul shares his doctrinal insights with the Ephesians to avoid them falling into heresy. So the commendation to "Be strong in the Lord...", after the brief exposition on what to believe, is among other things an appeal to the Ephesians to distance themselves from Heresy. Today, the word Heresy seems to have completely disappeared from the Church's lingo because it is considered divisive and intolerant to call someone an heretic. WAKE UP!!! The end times apostasy and great falling away is already here... the truth is frowned up and the lie is celebrated and promoted even by influential "Christian leaders"

#ShowToTell!

#ShowToTell - Wisdom is applied knowledge. Hence, wisdom is better than knowledge. In a Christian's life, wisdom is manifested by our degree of obedience to God's words. This is how we demonstrate that we fear God. It is fine to know that Jesus is Lord, but it is better to live our lives demonstrating that Jesus is Lord. This is the point James is making. The wise person need not to blow their trumpets for all to know that they are wise. In fact if one does that it is usually a sign that there isn't much to seek in them.
Wisdom is a state of being... not a song!
Be wise!

#TheWayMaker!

#TheWayMaker - Yes! I bring you a word of comfort and hope today. Even when you don't see Him, or feel Him - God is working. Let it be done according to your faith. This morning's verse in Isaiah 43: 19 has a clear context and message. But I choose to allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you regarding what He wishes you to catch for yourself and your household.
Amen, Do it Lord. Have your absolute way in our lives.

#MatterOfPerspective!

#MatterOfPerspective - Between you and God, who would you say has a better perspective on what your life is? What it can be and what it will certainly be? Well, certainly not you.
Why? God is Eternal, He created you and knows you entirely (Psalms 90:1; 100:3 & 139).
So our acceptance of Romans 8:28 is rooted in the fact that we know God is Eternal, All-Knowing, All Wise and Almighty. Furthermore, we know that He loves us dearly. So whatever we encounter in this life, if we take the above considerations of God seriously, can only lead us to agree with Paul that everything indeed works for our Good. Philippians 4: 4-8 suddenly makes a lot of sense!
Know The Lord.

#HopeInGod!

#HopeInGod - Some of us may never get to fully experience what Jeremiah (the weeping prophet) went through. But all of us can, in some ways, relate to loss, hardship, shame, depression, fear and uncertain future.
When darkness befalls us and pain & hopelessness take center stage in our lives, we must remind ourselves of God's Nature and Character which remain constant irrespective of our circumstances. God's nature is the silver lining we need for the recovery of hope during life's darkest time.
Hope in God (x3).

#ActLikeMen!

#ActLikeMen - Spiritual Maturity was the fundamental problem of the Church in Corinth. Here, Paul is giving his final recommendation to the Corinthians and among many other things He is asking them to act like mature men and be motivated by God's love in all their  actions. Do you consider yourself a mature Christian? What is the measuring bar of Maturity in Christ? The answer is in the same letter to the Corinthians, the 13th Chapter.
Walk in Love (Matt.22: 37-40). Shalom!

#PutOnTheNew.

#PutOnTheNew - Out with the old and in with the new! This principle is one of the foundational truth of a victorious Christian walk. There must be a daily willingness to yield and relinquish more control to God the Holy Spirit by submitting to scripture's prescription on God's expectation on us based on our new identity in Christ. Today text encourages us to a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness & patience... Pls read Colossians 3: 1-17. It is a mouth full! But the bottom line is: will you yield to its instruction or not? If we want a victorious spiritual walk, we must yield. I wish you a Victorious living. Shalom!

#ServantLeadership

#ServantLeadership - If everything rises and falls upon leadership, then Africa's under development can largely be attributed to its leadership in all the sectors of the society (not only in politics). Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, suggests that unless his followers adopt servant leadership as the only approach to leading they will never attain greatness (success in the eyes of God and the people). Why the other kind of leadership (i.e: Power leadership) is frowned upon by Jesus? I believe it is because this leadership finds its roots in Satan's DNA (Isaiah 14: 12-15 & Ezekiel 28: 11-19). Are you a leader? Choose to serve!

#RealSoulFood!

#RealSoulFood! Listen to the call of Isaiah 55:1-2 and pause for a moment... let it sink in.
The food being offered here is no ordinary food and can't be bought with money. Yet, it is a must have food for every living soul. There can be no joy and satisfaction in life without this food. Yes, there are false Marchants out there who promise to offer it at a price. But they don't have it! For there is but only one supplier of this much needed soul food. God alone supplies this priceless food (John 14:6). This food is TRUTH. So come to Christ for your free supply of this priceless item. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

One Way!

1 Timothy 2: 5-6
#1God/1Mediator/1Ransom. Well, all this sounds like One Way too! So we say Acts 4:12 & Ephesians 2:8-9 - Divine Salvation is granted in Christ ALONE by Faith ALONE. To believe otherwise is to believe the lie. "Let God be true but every man a liar..." Romans 3:4.
Come out of religion and embrace the truth. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved you and your household. Amen!

#SpiritualMentorship!

#SpiritualMentorship! In whose footsteps are you walking-in in your spiritual journey? Paul is appealing to the philippians to model after him in their walk of faith because he knew the necessity of having a fixed North Star to provide guidance in the navigation of the tumultuous waters of spirituality and faith. Today, the full counsel of God (Scriptures) and Jesus Christ should be every Christian's North Star in their spiritual journey, but we all need to be guided by those who have gone before us and those who have walked longer than ourselves on the path of Truth and righteousness. Such people can fill in our lives the roles of spiritual mentors.
I highly encourage you to find one. Safe journey!
