#StrongInTheLord!

#StrongInTheLord - here is a commendation you and I (believers) really need to hear. This epistle is Paul's effort to keep this local church free from the heresies of their time. Paul shares his doctrinal insights with the Ephesians to avoid them falling into heresy. So the commendation to "Be strong in the Lord...", after the brief exposition on what to believe, is among other things an appeal to the Ephesians to distance themselves from Heresy. Today, the word Heresy seems to have completely disappeared from the Church's lingo because it is considered divisive and intolerant to call someone an heretic. WAKE UP!!! The end times apostasy and great falling away is already here... the truth is frowned up and the lie is celebrated and promoted even by influential "Christian leaders"

#ShowToTell!

#ShowToTell - Wisdom is applied knowledge. Hence, wisdom is better than knowledge. In a Christian's life, wisdom is manifested by our degree of obedience to God's words. This is how we demonstrate that we fear God. It is fine to know that Jesus is Lord, but it is better to live our lives demonstrating that Jesus is Lord. This is the point James is making. The wise person need not to blow their trumpets for all to know that they are wise. In fact if one does that it is usually a sign that there isn't much to seek in them.
Wisdom is a state of being... not a song!
Be wise!

#TheWayMaker!

#TheWayMaker - Yes! I bring you a word of comfort and hope today. Even when you don't see Him, or feel Him - God is working. Let it be done according to your faith. This morning's verse in Isaiah 43: 19 has a clear context and message. But I choose to allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you regarding what He wishes you to catch for yourself and your household.
Amen, Do it Lord. Have your absolute way in our lives.
Shalom!

#MatterOfPerspective!

#MatterOfPerspective - Between you and God, who would you say has a better perspective on what your life is? What it can be and what it will certainly be? Well, certainly not you.
Why? God is Eternal, He created you and knows you entirely (Psalms 90:1; 100:3 & 139).
So our acceptance of Romans 8:28 is rooted in the fact that we know God is Eternal, All-Knowing, All Wise and Almighty. Furthermore, we know that He loves us dearly. So whatever we encounter in this life, if we take the above considerations of God seriously, can only lead us to agree with Paul that everything indeed works for our Good. Philippians 4: 4-8 suddenly makes a lot of sense!
Know The Lord.

#HopeInGod!

#HopeInGod - Some of us may never get to fully experience what Jeremiah (the weeping prophet) went through. But all of us can, in some ways, relate to loss, hardship, shame, depression, fear and uncertain future.
When darkness befalls us and pain & hopelessness take center stage in our lives, we must remind ourselves of God's Nature and Character which remain constant irrespective of our circumstances. God's nature is the silver lining we need for the recovery of hope during life's darkest time.
Hope in God (x3).

#ActLikeMen!

#ActLikeMen - Spiritual Maturity was the fundamental problem of the Church in Corinth. Here, Paul is giving his final recommendation to the Corinthians and among many other things He is asking them to act like mature men and be motivated by God's love in all their  actions. Do you consider yourself a mature Christian? What is the measuring bar of Maturity in Christ? The answer is in the same letter to the Corinthians, the 13th Chapter.
Walk in Love (Matt.22: 37-40). Shalom!

#PutOnTheNew.

#PutOnTheNew - Out with the old and in with the new! This principle is one of the foundational truth of a victorious Christian walk. There must be a daily willingness to yield and relinquish more control to God the Holy Spirit by submitting to scripture's prescription on God's expectation on us based on our new identity in Christ. Today text encourages us to a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness & patience... Pls read Colossians 3: 1-17. It is a mouth full! But the bottom line is: will you yield to its instruction or not? If we want a victorious spiritual walk, we must yield. I wish you a Victorious living. Shalom!
